Fire Lenny, Part II

Oy.

I like Stephon Marbury, but he cannot carry the Knicks. Last night we saw the worst thing - what happens when what little size the Knicks have is trapped on the bench with foul trouble. We saw JYD, Ariza, Bruno Sundov, Penny and Moochie on the court at the same time. Yikes. No wonder the Knicks gave up a double-digit lead to Sacramento. But, Allan Houston, Marbury and TimThom were not in foul trouble.

Lenny, why open the 2nd quarter with your scrubs? Yeah, Kurt and Nazr had fouls, but a line up of Steph, Houston, Ariza, JYD and TimThom is better than that above. Stupid Lenny Wilkens. The last two games he's killed Knicks runs by making odd and ill-timed substitutions. Against the Nets, I can't recall what it was, but it killed Knicks momentum.

The Knicks are not good enough to suffer these kinds of mistakes. They still can't finish on the break (TimThom) and don't hustle enough for loose balls, with the exception of Ariza, JYD and Sweetney. The last thing they need is Lenny making it worse.

Fire Lenny and trade TimThom - it's our only hope.

Comments:
If there was ever an argument for the coach of a first place team to be fired, I think you could make it here...
